When we launched Fraym Studio a month ago, we started with just one frame, the 001. Partly because it was all we could afford to produce at the time. We made 50 units, crossed our fingers, and hoped people would connect with what we were building.
Those 50 frames sold out in our first month.
That early support has allowed us to grow faster than we expected. And today, we’re excited to introduce two new additions to the collection: the 002 and the 003.
The 002 is our cleanest and most minimal frame yet. Brushed silver aluminium frame with a cool-white thick-cut mount, in the same proportions as the 001. It’s designed for people who prefer a cooler, brighter palette; something crisp and contemporary.
The 003 is slightly different, and one we’re incredibly excited about. It’s a portrait frame with an off-centre landscape aperture: a clean, editorial composition that gives landscape photographs a striking presence. Finished in the same brushed black aluminium as the 001, with a warm-white mount, the 003 feels more considered and artistic.
As with everything we make, both new styles are produced and assembled entirely in the UK, using carefully sourced materials:
-
Aluminium mouldings
-
Thick-cut mountboard
-
High-grade acrylic glazing
